Just to forewarn you. Iron-X smells like a dead skunk that go pissed on by a homeless person and that is the good smelling lemon scented version.

Do not open that bottle in your house and make sure you seal it back up and put it in a seal-able bag if you keep the remainder.

It does work wonders on removing rail dust though.

Looks like rail dust. :shrug: I would take it to a good detail shop and run it by them. Tell them you already coated it.

could also be from someone welding or grinding near it... slag burns from welding and hot sparks from grinding but i doubt it cause you would have more then one.you would have multi in one spot from grinding.. now a weld slag is poss.. cause to me it looks like it burnt right through
