What's the best way to remove all coolant out of the system? DIY
Changing coolant type.

Ok I know there is someone out there that has swapped radiators or swapped types of coolant. What are the secrets to a DIY getting all fluid out because what I did didn't work. Looks like I had about a gallon to mix with my new and it looks nasty.

Question is can I drain it at the drain plug, re-install plug, then pull lower radiator hose off @ radiator and run car while adding water to my overflow tank until fluid coming out of my bottom hose is clear? I know it will be messy but will it cleanout my system and damage the water pump? I will be watching the temps.

Those that have tried the Quantum Blue coolant what are your thoughts? Does it work better or just cost more?
