So while I sit here and wonder when my car will be built thinking about doing some things to it when it does arrive. Thinking about putting the bigger splitter from the R on my track pack car and maybe the inner radiator piece for better aero. Thinking about the R wing as well but a friend that was at Laguna said the Ford guys said it used different holes. Not sure I want to drill and fill holes just yet. Any word on when you think they will have pricing on parts?

First thing will be removing the resonators though for sure

Anyone have plans for their cars?

Most of the future "R" owners must be pretty happy that it will be very difficult to produce "clones" of the GT350 R. Makes this vehicle even more rare/unique.

I'm going to do a 4 point cage so I finally wear proper safety gear when I am out lapping and maybe a proper seat for using a Hans. Also going to do a lighter & larger Track day wheel & tire setup and maybe aero stuff down the road.

Like the one for $30k R wheels?

I might do a set of Forgeline wheels but I really like the normal 350 wheels

Not trying to clone the R just want some more track features on my track pack 350.

Seibon has a similar Carbon Fiber wing for $2400.00. I believe they make the Wing for Ford.

WOW !! if this is real and the wheel invoice is real (of course what they want to charge and what they will sell it for are 2 different things..) your talking 43K for the the wheels and tires....even if cruzin's right ant the rear R spoiler is 2400 that's still a lot of jack for a clone. No doubt there will be non carbon after market look a likes very soon.

If the Clones are the same look and feel and the quality is good...then the downforce they provide should still work. But they may not hold up to stress as well.

Still..... 12000 Vs 2400? Lots of modders put much more into the aero on the GT Mustangs.

Just take a look at 908's 10' GT.

$12,000 spoiler, $30,000 wheels, $25,000 "market adjustments", is this the biggest bunch of nonsense or have I just been around too long. Holy bajeeeeesus, there is always a lot of hype around a new model but this one is off the charts. Quite entertaining!
