Went and stepped foot at some dealers yesterday, planted some seeds for some base 2016 GTs.

The deal im working is $30,000 OTD (including WA ~8%+ state taxes ouch) for a 2016 GT manual with the only option as $155 foundary wheels.

I'm working off my USAA price which was ~$29,000 (includes $500 cash back and $500 military rebate)...told them I wanted $500 under that which takes me to $28,500 and Im going to add a $750 brochure coupon. soooo

$27750+ TTL = $30,000....am I doing it right gents? Pretty solid price IMO

*EDIT* They are calling me at 6PM on easter sunday. I think I might have the upper hand lol

Seems like a good price. I bought mine last year for $32k OTD using USAA and I have more money tied up in options vs your price.

you might not be able to use the military discount with a private brochure

You shouldn't have any issue using the brochure coupon and military cash. I bought mine with USAA, $750 brochure coupon, $500 customer cash and $500 competitive lease cash. If I was eligible for military I could have used that $500 instead of lease cash.

Thanks brother, I think I will be ok...worst case scenario...I tell them to split the $500 rebate and eat 1/2, or just eat all of it. they already moved the car from one dealership to another, so I got a good leverage point.

Try calling ford marketing. Private/lease cash is different from private/military or private/college.

they would only eat the $500 is if you overpaid, which doesnt sound like you are going to be doing.

We made it boys, and the dealership even after I told them I would come sign papers at $30,500 after the $500 cash rebate + $500 military + $750 brochure coupon, they still screwed it up. the gave me $30,500 without the military rebate, so they were less than pleased when I was looking over the sales price and noticed this. the salesman literally asked me to give the rebate cash to the dealership since he was "taking such a big hit" on the car. I told them nicely, that ford would pay them the $500 back and I did not want to just GIVE UP 500 bucks.

So I got the car $30,000 out the door even with washington sales tax @ 9.9%. Car only had the $155 foundry wheel option ( which i really dig, over the stock wheels). 2016 Magnetic manual with 270 miles on it...lovin it so far

Was not the easy car sale, they pretty much tried every trick in the book at every corner...but I think they could tell by my expressions I was ready to buy, but ready to walk at any moment.
