Depending on where you live and your Sales Tax rate, simply add or deduct X% from the CarMax quote. Deduct if you sell to trade to Dealer and add if you sell to CarMax. Sometimes it still pays to sell to CarMax if the Dealer`s Used Car Manager "low balls" you too severely.

I was worried about the same thing happening to me that happened to you. when I ordered my car it cost a little over 44,685 retail. the manager and I agreed on 41,767 (dest & deliv incl) before tax, tags, title. I gave them a 1,000 check and waited for my car. when it cam time to do the paperwork, after my deposit and incentives my fully loaded car was around 36,000. I thought they were going to screw me over... but they didn't. I even got 2 years of free maintenance in the deal. (something my wife didn't get when she bought her magnetic V6 a month earlier). im happy for you. im happy the good dealerships try to keep us satisfied.
