One of my biggest regrets about my 2013 Boss 302... Had to buy it off the lot from inventory - damn!

Same thing happen to my 2012 Boss 302. Some of these smaller dealers dont even think about it.

Is there any other "lessons learned" we can add to this. I plan on sending my dealer a list for when I know the vehicle comes in. Some things I was thinking:

- Dont drill for front plate bracket
- leave vehicle covering on, don't need it to go back and get washed and scratched
- don't place any dealer ship "tags" on the vehicle
- dont fill it up with gas until I arrive to pick up the vehicle
others??

I've been keeping a list. I have everything you have, except that if they want to put a license plate frame/placard on the back that's fine.

No test drives/joyriding
Window sticker preserved without damage/folds

If you ask them to not wash and/or leave the car covering on and you don't fully inspect the car before you leave the lot, you will be liable for any transportation damages.

Even if they damage the window sticker they can order you a new one. Granted the replacement will likely have folds in it.

My understanding is that they can still do the acceptance inspection without having to wash or remove anything.
