The non-PP bar is identical except that it doesn't have the "sticky" bushings fixed to the bar, and the more rigid mounting brackets of the PP. Those changes improve steering feel, but the bar itself is identical.

So...quick question: instead of buying the entire sway bar, can just the sticky bushings and rigid mountain brackets be bought and retrofitted onto the existing bar?

That would save time and $$

You cannot. The bushings and brackets are permanently mounted to the bar.

There was a recent thread today or so that had sway bar replacements. I think it was super affordable when it was all said and done. Buck fifty.
