My lifetime average to date is 15.0L/100KM (15MPG) after about 11,500km (7500ish miles). My weekly averages are 15-16L/100km (14-15MPG) on a 40mph road with rush hour traffic, averaging about 25-30mph mostly.

19.7 (computer which I trust to be accurate) through first 2,500 since new. Mixed highway and city commute. On a relatively short (200 mile) road trip I got 22.4 doing 75 on half, and 65 on the other half. Have always run 91 octane.

P.S. it sees WOT often:)

I have 3:15 gears and with the cruise set at 72, I wish I got the kind of mileage guys with 3:73 gears get.

Its not exactly as it seems..manual 3.73s allow us to tweak the numbers. Road grades like downhill..coast with clutch or neutral..Stopped traffic or lights ahead way ahead..same coasting..Lugging around in city in 6th gear at as little as 40mph. The mpgs on the display love it. I mean check out this pic of my trip home from work .

I can get as low as 7mpg on E85 with aggressive driving and as high as 18 on E85 with normal driving. 91oct numbers are far better!

Let me add that my previous post is just an example of an unrealistic intended drive home to see what is possible doing those things..My avg tank fills of petro have been giving me an avg of 23.5mpgs whichs is still pretty awesome.

I've owned my S550 for over a year and I think I've looked at my mileage maybe once. I do look at my accelerometer daily! :headbang:

16 GT/PP. Run 92 octane. 12.2 to 12.3 mpg average. Mostly driving around suburbia with speed limits 25mph to 55 mph. About 20 miles per day.

Ive been thinking my mpg is particularly low...

This is cheating:

I'd just filled up in California somewhere near El Centro and then encountered a long downhill grade. Seeing as how the car loves curvy roads, I didn't feel the need to brake or accelerate.

After 10-20 miles, my fuel economy was great! 32.1 mpg!

Ouch. What are your shift points, and is that with your "Track" setting on?
I thought mine was bad at 15-15.5 mpg suburban driving (also in PA)

Usually high 3's and I do usually run it in Sport+. I like hearing the Coyote :)

Lift your foot off that pedal on the right when you come to stop. I know it makes it sound awesome but that's making that MPG number go down LOL ;)

26.2 MPG on a recent highway run from Montreal to Toronto. Not light-footed.

That's on a V6 with manual trans, stock gears, exhaust upgraded to stock GT (bigger pipe diameter) and 6000 miles on the odometer.
