Mine won't help, they are black and lime green

Actually, I think I might go black, with gray/metallic wording. Didn't want to go overboard with metallic in the engine bay.

Not on the Stang but trying to keep this thread going! I did this on our old explorer and people thought it was factory...

I see some of you dipped the calipers. The heat won't mess with the dip I assume?

It doesn't seem to just clean them often.

What did you use to outline the pony so the plasti-dip didn't get anywhere else but the emblem? Was it hard it to outline?
I didn't try to outline it. I just pulled it off and dipped it. Then I used 3M tape to stick it back on. You can reach behind it and with your finger, break off the pins that hold it on.

Oh ok.... So basically break it off and double side tape it back on.

Hey for you guys doing the black dip to the lower rear bumper (valance) can someone share the exact black you are using and how well does it match the skirts and diffuser?

Midnight_LMR Wish I could help. My car is a premium, so I didn't have to paint/dip anything. Hope you get an answer though!

I actually like my car the way it is, all painted the same color on the bumper. I just can't ever do quad tips like you premium guys without a lot of hassle.

One could always paint a sample piece of plastic and compare it to the rest of the car.
