Porting stock intake manifold

I just picked up an extra stock intake manifold that I am going to have ported. Has anyone else done this? I will update this thread with my results good or bad.

I've seen some benefits on the Boss intake, I'm hoping that it will cross over to the 15-16 intake since it's different than the 11-14 intake.

15+ intakes have IMRCs, I don't think porting is a great idea on these. Better to move to a ported Boss or CJ, imo.

I've seen some benefits on the Boss intake, I'm hoping that it will cross over to the 15-16 intake since it's different than the 11-14 intake.

It's not really ported, it's smoothing out some raised areas where the two plastic pieces join together, and a little smoothing/reduction of the injector hump. Like I said, some 11-14 guys did the stock intakes and lost power.

I'm hoping for a different outcome since the 15 intake is different than the 11-14. I will post results. It's a fairly cheap mod and easily reversed.

Honestly after seeing the gains from the GT350 intake and throttle body, I want to go that route, I have a stock intake up for sale of anyone wants. $150 shipped to you.

The GT350 mani and throttle body are showing good results! Anywhere between 30-50rwhp!
