Get some peppermint spray it helps!! Definitely keeps them away and smells good to us ..few months back ..rat got in my chevelle, pee, shit and fucked all my chrome , then he decided to eat my spark plug wires ..got in the fire wall ..did damage to my custom interior on my back seat..was a nightmare .

Talking with my barber about this the other day. He uses double-sided tape to put a glue trap on top of the fuse box in his pickup. Says he gets a mouse every few weeks.

That being said, there's got to be a better way.

They use a soy based insulation on all their wires and the mice just love to eat it.

Honda and Toyota also use this crap. I'm sure some other manufacturers do this as well but Volkswagen is the one I always hear about just getting decimated by rodents.

Iirc there have been class action law suits filed because of it.

I used Rodent Repel and sprays all areas in my engine area.

I had squirrel issues.bought a hav a hart live squrrei trap and they're gone.drive them 4 miles away and they won't return.they are creatures of habit so they'll return unless you trap them
