Oh if there is one around when my next lease runs out or even they sort out their deliveries for the next re-incarnation I will be back!!

Yea I don't mind the xr8 - power etc looks fantastic but I just can't do their interiors. Too outdated for my taste, if they had made some mods there definetly! but alas their budget ran out wacking that powerplant under the hood.

livewildcard - I'm just guessing but 2543 could be a dealer code. - however when you look at the screen shot - the column next to the date does appear to be the queue number.
The people with numbers 1, 3 4, have all ordered convertibles - which we know were not available until well after the fastback was well into production - thus a delivery date of March 2016 sort of makes sense.
The person at number 2 - ordered a fastback and has a delivery date of December 2015. The next person with a fastback is number 5 which has a delivery date of Feb 2016.

I read somewhere that dealers may only get a small allocation for Dec 2015 and then nothing in Jan and then more in Feb 2016 - this seems to confirm this.

You have summed up the xr8 perfectly. We have an fg mk2 xr6 turbo..great car...the missus suggested getting an xr8 until the mustang gets here.
Apart from the $15 grand it would lose in value in the next year, the xr8 interior is identical to the 2012 xr6....not worth the change for a couple more horsepower...It was a shame FoA didnt have more money to spend on the fgx to see out the falcon. I guess it sums up how little FoA is regarded by FoNA.

then there is another year column which has 2015 and then 2016. Looks like those that are getting theres up to about May are labelled 2015. Then June-July onwards etc are labelled 2016. Not sure if they are the build years so those early ones are classified as a 2015 mustang and those getting in Juny/July are 2016.

I can confirm that the last column on that document is titled "Gate Release Year".

Of the Yes/No columns - the first is for the "19" Luster Nickel Wheels", the second for the "Black Painted Roof" and the third for the "Over The Top Stripes".

I rang my salesman last week but he is still yet to confirm any change in the delivery date.
