Options...

We know there will be a track-pack, and a tech pack but what do u guys think these will include as well as what will they cost? And any other options that may be unknown to me or others, also what if any options do you think will be available when they show off the GT350R in January?

I think Jarstang or Topnotch posted a list of options on the reveal thread (likely not a comprehensive list).

My thoughts:
Tech Package;
- MFT radio
- Shaker stereo
- Power/Leather seats
- Maybe toggle switches
- Dual zone climate
- Pony projection lights (maybe GT350 lights?)
- Memory seats?

Cost = $4000 (basically the difference between STD and Premium trim cars)

Track Pack:
- Oil Cooler
- Transmission Cooler
- Diff Cooler
- Brake ducts
- Built-in Lap Timer (wish list)
- Stiffer suspension tuning
- Track mode traction controls

Cost = $3000 (similar to PP)

There were several stripe options
Cost = $500

Not sure what else is needed...maybe some of the other packages or stand alone options as the regular car.

Hmmmmm this sounds on point, think the white and blue shown off has the Track-pack??? Also i bet there will be a different set of wheels we havent seen yet, possibly the long-rumored CF wheels we've been hearing about??

Also, im really curious as to what the standard features are, anybody have anything thats been confirmed as standard?? Recaros?? Magnaride??

EDIT: just checked the ford site, apparently the Magnaride is not standard and will be available as an option.

From the list TN posted Recaros are an option, kinda like the Boss 302. Magnaride should be standard because it does not make sense for Ford to have two suspension set ups. Just a thought.

Really? That seems kinda stupid but at the same time it makes sense if they want to keep the price down.

yeah, now im curious iif they'll be part of the track pack or if they'll go the way corvette has been doing it and make them their own option

The stand alone route would be a good decision but Ford likes to package things together.

You have a link? I can't find anything on the Ford site that says its an option (or that its standard either for that matter).

I don't see that either. On fords website it says nothing about it being optional, just talks about how it works for the car. A screenshot or link to where they say optional would be nice cause I haven't seen that anywhere

From my perspective, it's should be a hardcore car with optional comfort equipment. Not a soft car with optional speed parts.

If suspension is optional...
MagneRide should be stand alone ($1,500) or in TechPack. It allows softer ride during normal street speed while retaining track performance.
Base should be tuned for track use with fixed or manually adjustable. Downside, like Base interior, less comfort.

TechPack ($3,000 w/ MagneRide OR $1,500 w/o)... should be radio, dual climate A/C, ambient lighting, etc... maybe MagneRide

seats...
Unique cloth Recaro should be included with base.
Optional (~$500) Cooled & heated non-Recaro leather. GT-shape with GT350 embossed & possible different colors
Optional (~2k) leather Recaro, GT-shape with embroidered GT350 & possible different colors.
