Together with the build date, Ford Italy sent me two links that at first sight had no news but only the Mustangy history splitted in episodes.
Today I came back to these links and noted an interesting paragraph:

Quick translation, they said that finally Mustang come to Europe, and it will arrive on 4th of May, when it will begin in Munich a long test drive with european media. Then, in second half of June, it will be ready to meet public and enthusiasts.

So, this could be the reason for the lack of promotion, advertising and so on, even if they opened the orders on 20th of January: the official launch had to be done!

I hope that after the 4th of May we will have some more info on cars we have already ordered..

Good spot papinist - sounds like we'll start to see some reviews on the European models from next month (probably just after all out orders are locked down, at least in the UK, in mid-May!)

Monaco di Baviera = Munich? Did not know that Munich ist the Monaco of Bavaria.
Monaco/Riviera makes more sense for photographic reasons, but maybe not for fast rides. Some "action" (probably for that oncoming event) was already going on today in Germany.

you are right, never heard of that elsewhere in Germany, but then I am not a Munich nor bavarian resident:-) Looking forward to that event then.

Since yesterday through to 19th. a Ford Europe film team is busy in Germany with 'stangs.

I certainly hope they will also drive the EB, it seems like despite the EB version was designed to be the 'World car', everyone so far seems to go full retard 'V8, V8, V8 .. ow yeah EB too, but that's not a real one.' :frusty:

Euro people, if don't want to go bankruptcy, had to look at EB more seriously...

Pff... The V8 is only 400.000kr more expensive than the EB... ;)

But given that all Europeans drive either a huge SUV or a 0.6L 'smart car' I can understand people going bonkers for a real V8...

The main issue for most EU residents is: AFTER buying NOT BEFORE.

and I mean yearly costs=TAXES!

in my country EB has road tax: 660 + 928 (luxury tax) = 1588 YEARLY

V8 (5000cc) has road tax : 1320 + 5434 (luxury tax) = 6754 YEARLY (in 7 years you pay one more car for taxes)

I think the choice is obvious.

In Belgium it's also the taxes that kill the V8 for me :

€ 10.439 @ first registration + € 2.397,25 yearly taxes.

For the EB that is € 953,91 @ first registration + € 495,13 yearly taxes.

Easy choice if you don't swim in €€€€€...
