The comp orange GT is gone. I'm in an oxford white now. Thinking about a textured black or the transparent black with the shift pattern. Just worried about the texas heat.
Ah, I need to read your sig better.

Were it me I'd opt for the asphalt black or even snowball. The slight texture will do a slightly better job with heat.

I ordered a Lightning blue 17 but not take it. It's the bad part of being a new car ford sales manager. I was thinking the texture would be good, but it has to be black. I have the steeda delrin lockout and jpm gt350 shift boot waiting to install.

It was in the mid 90s all day with my car being out in the sun. The knob got decently hot, however, it wasn't unbearable. After a couple of minutes in the car with the ac everything seemed to settle down

Some of those look damn good, but I live in Phoenix.

It was 120F last Saturday.

I'm reticent to go with something in bare metal!

brandonsmash - with a good coating you'll be fine.

Good to know. Just a powdercoat process? Or would a wrinkle-finish be better?
Yeah, I usually recommend a wrinkle or texture. We have 3, red, white, and black.

All 3 are good at helping with temps. I have customers in Dubai and the ME and I pushed them all towards a wrinkle coating, worked out great.

Thank you Speed Dawg!!!!

Love the white knob. Great match for my OW GT/CS Vert..

Great feel and the light weight is fine for me.:D

Excellent upgrade from the OE knob.:clap2:

I didn't bother using Loctite. Knob is quite tight as is.
