New Michelin PSS5 tires

It looks like the new Michelin Pilot Sport S 5 tires are now available to the consumer market and not just OEMs (they will be on the new DB12 and AMG GT cars). So far, I cannot find my size, but the minute they are available I'm switching all four wheels over. It also gives me an excuse to roast the rear PS4S tires.

Are you sure they were PSS5's and not PS5's? I didn't think anybody had PSS5's yet, only OEMs like Aston Martin and AMG.

Yes, the Conti SC7 beat the PS4S by a good margin in tests. I'm just anticipating that the S5 will be a major step forward given the new benchmark that the Conti just set.

Question on the Conti SC7's, one of the things that I really like on the PS4S's is that massive and hard rim protector it has. It definitely helps protect my wheels. You can see how much the tyre overhangs my wheels in the pic below. Compared to the Michelins, how much wheel protection do the Conti's offer? Cheers.
