A friend of mine picked up a 21 GT premium about 2 months ago and he just got a set of wheels for it. His stock wheels were the 20x9's with 265/35/20 and his new wheels are 19x10 +27.5 front and 19x11 +50 rear. He ended up getting 275/30/19 front and 305/30/19 rear tires and now has horrible wheel gap. I told him he needs to get 295/35/19 front and 305/35/19 rear if he wants to match his factory overall tire height. Every calculator I've used online says they will fit no issue, but a self proclaimed "master of fitment" told him that due to the wheels pre determined concave, the only other tire sizes he can run are 275/35/19 and 305/35/19. Pretty sure the "master of fitment" is full of it but can someone confirm or deny?

Thanks!

**EDIT** He also wants to lower it on the Steeda progressive springs.

He should lower it first and then re-evaluate if he wants to change tires? I ran 30 series tires on the rear of my 2018 with Eibach Sportlines and thought it was fine. 295/30/20 so I'm not sure how much difference the 20" makes...I think I had 255/35/20 on the front.

I would think a 19x10 with an ET of 27.5 would probably work fine with a 295 tire.

295 is getting wide, and so you may need to pay attention to camber to get it to tuck under the fender. 285/35 would be another option.
