My AC failed!

Welp. My AC failed today. Car is exactly 1 year and only has 5,300 miles on it. I haven't used it for 3 days though and today it is just 100F here in Jacksonville, FL. and the car was just sitting outside.

When I turn the AC on the compressor is doing a weird sound.

Bummer. My sons '95 GT compressor died yesterday on the way home. Spent the entire day swapping out EVERYTHING under the hood and flushing the evap. But he's running cool this evening.

My compressor clutch failed at 36,700 k miles. Just out of warranty! Sucked!!!! Had to get a whole new compressor.

Yup - exact same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. Dealer had to order a new compressor for me and should be here next week as it had to be shipped in from the U.S. to Canada. Not as hot here though, but getting warm again this week.
