My dealer has told me the 11th of March but presume that is when the Figaro gets into the port of Melbourne so hopefully this is the case and my car is not pushed back further.

My dealer emailed last night to advise mine will be at Port Kembla on the w/e of 31st March. So assuming it is being booked on the Tonsberg.

Was hoping it might make the Tamesis 5 days earlier. Is due to arrive in Baltimore on the 7th Feb (and I have been told deffo wont make the sailing on the 10th on the Figaro with yours)

i was told my delivery Was 27th feb which lined up with Tiger... and I'm now on Figaro... so pissed hey..

I spoke to my sister yesterday who works as a freight forwarder.
She suggested two possible reasons for cars being bumped off Salome, and I must add this is only speculation based on her knowledge of the industry.

1) ship was overbooked which does occasionally happen.
2) the most likely reason is the 4 day late arrival into Baltimore would mean that Salome would not have been able to make all the port booking slots on time. Therfore a decision to drop Port Kembla, Melbourne,Freo and add extra cars to Auckland would make sense to get ship back onto correct docking time for future schedules.
Other factors may have played a part in cars being bumped but not sure what they could be

Oh well I'll just cross out 8/3 on my calendar as my ship arrival into Freo and make it 18/3
What's another 10 days after a 12 month wait.

When I spoke to my dealer earlier he had heard it was quarantined, thus the delay. He did say he can't confirm that but it's possibly a factor.

In any case its frustrating when it's so close, but after nearly 12 months agree a few more days is not a hassle.

Has anyone had confirmation they are on the Figaro?

I suspect mine is sitting at the docks now in limbo.

Been like this since just after Christmas but nothing showing on Track and Trace :-(
