got a message from ford this morning, cant wait, 4 month earlier build date than we were told

I hope that this works out the way they are currently describing it to you. My experience has been that until you get a VIN, the production estimates are fairly "rubbery". My chronology (so far) has been:
Ordered 9/9/15
NSC (via the dealer from Ford AU) 16/6/16 with a build date of 10/7/16 - "no VIN available" at this stage
29/6/16 enquiry directly to Ford AU (facebook) - "still no VIN but build still scheduled for 10/7/16"
6/7/16 enquiry directly to Ford AU (facebook) - "still no VIN but build still scheduled for 10/7/16"
13/7/16 enquiry directly to Ford AU (facebook) - "still no VIN but build still scheduled for 10/7/16" ?????????
20/7/16 enquiry direct to Ford AU (facebook) - "we have a VIN! Build now scheduled for week commencing 8/8/16 with keys in your hand in late October"
I hope that it doesn't drift any further (for either of us). If you look at GGT-66's signature for an indication of timeline it inspires me to remain optimistic!

I ordered the same time and was told 12 months, then updated in April to be told it had moved to build in Dec and delivery in Feb 2017 too. But now I'm due to receive at 11 months. Very fluid logisitcs at Ford.

Congrats oxford white looks great in person,i just changed my magnetic order to it today.Ordered mine dec seen every color in real life except the new ones said stuff it its the best ..

Just seen AusS550-GT who ordered Aug 2015 and has just got a build date of August 5th. So it seems like they are still processing back orders from 2015!

My July 15 ordered was built 25th of this month too. So 12 months buy to build now the 3 month wait.
