The 19x10 with a 40et had about 7-10mm before touching the inner strut
meaning that if the 19x11 where to be installed with the 55et will definitely hit the strut, the wheel would have to be a 27-30et 11 wide just to clear the inner strut. this will have the wheel sticking out for sure.

Interesting. Would you think it possible to pull 55et off with a spacer up front? And if so, what size spacer would be needed?

that would be a big spacer.to be honest with you is not worth putting a 11 front.
especially considering the design of the wheel looks the same.
