With a recent post about mounting the nGauge in the AC vent, I decided to do this as well.
But instead, I used 1/4" Thick Weather stripping with sticky tape to wrap around the gauge. I left a small area open where the mini SD card will go.
Once you remove the Center vent by popping off the center peace (you have to remove the passenger side panel to remove it), I simply placed the gauge in place. With the stripping, it sits good and does not pop out at all. Allows no air to sneak by it and can be removed with no issues.
I ran the wire on the driver side panel and under the steering column panel to the OBD2 port. I zip tied the line out of the way. Theirs enough slack to be able to unplug it and stuff it out of the way.
All in all it took me 30minutes to do.
Enjoy!
Works great and can't thank Ken from Lund Racing enough for a great tune with it!
