i got a buddy who just swapped a motor and trans to a new to him s197. same year and model car. he says now that everything is bolted up that his shifter will not shift into gear due to hitting bezel, will physically shift. says that his shifter doesnt sit in the center console the same as the other car. same engine same trans, same motor mounts, he even swapped in the center console from the donor car. any advice? is there an adjustment on the linkage he can move it back at all?
