Mishimoto Street IC vs CVFab Race?

Hello all! I've looked but found no definitive answer. I currently have a Mishimoto Street Intercooler but I'm considering moving to CVF Race IC. I'm in NW Florida so I see pretty warm days and I can feel the strain and loss of power on those warm days. Has anyone gone from one of these Street style IC's to a Race style and if so, does the improvement justify the cost? FYI, looking @ going bigger turbo in the near future. I'm also on the Juice from PDTuning. Thanks!

There's no substitute for cubic inches. Yes, get the CVF IC and you'll get a lot less heat soak. I bought my Vortech Race IC before Jason released his race IC otherwise I would have gone that rout. I do have a CVF downpipe and it's top shelf quality.

Yeah, it was on it when I got it, and it definitely helped, but when the temps hit mid 80's I can feel the power being pulled! I am changing the crash bar as well so hopefully a little more airflow!

Not all. Only caveat I can offer is this: the brake light is bright AF to the rear passenger at night! Only active when top is down though.

Ahhhh thats hilarious lol but yeah it looks great! 445 dollars though hurts me inside. I would probably tint the light if I do get it though thanks for the feedback!

I snagged a CPE street mount intercooler and I did notice better overall performance, continuance of power after each pull. I paid 275 for mine shipped, I felt it was a stupid good deal. Black Friday, but this year I am not thinking we will be seeing much in terms of discounts, the economy is suffering a bit. obviously
