McLeod clutch problems

Ever since I've had this RST clutch and steel flywheel, I've been having problems. Clutch chatter is horrible and now it sounds like the chatter is coming from rear. What in the rear end could cause this problem?

sounds like it needs to go back to the shop that installed it for an inspection / double-check.

Clunking noise and chatter and shaking from the rear when I go over speed bumps while easing of the clutch

for clutch install, they will pull the transmission and drive shaft. If they did not get everything lined up good, where bolts are properly torqued, its easy to imagine the potential for clunking and chatter and shaking.

My RST chatters At 2K rpms or if I barely bog the motor. I’m just quicker off the clutch and give it a tad more gas to skip the annoyance. I’m just now out of my initial break-in but it seems to grab fine. Just wish there was a little more engagement travel.

Possible mis aligned/clocked driveshaft.

Is the chatter when slipping the clutch or in gear at low RPM?

In gear at low rpm. It’s pretty normal for these.

The RST does chatter, that won't go away. I don't think the rear should be clunking though. I know my car will clunk going into first when its cold but nothing from the rear. Did you install or have a shop do it?
