MAGNETIC 2015 Mustang (S550) Thread

Jaime, your car looks dynamite bro! Good job. The red calipers and the wheels set it off. Hopefully I get to see it in person this summer.

Thanks my friend and definitely!

Wow 305/30's all round that must handle superb. Guessing its pretty firm though on a 30 profile tire wall?

Any issues running 19x11 all round with 305's, any spacers needed and what offsets you running?
+1. I'd love to know. Looks awesome.
This car is for track day action, so I wanted the best handling I could get without going full race overboard. The wheels fit in there with no issues, but I'm using a Cortex offset strut, so this gives me roughly a 1/2" extra clearance for the larger rim and tire. Also the Yokohama tire is flush with the rim on the inside, compared to say Michelin Sport Cups which bulge about 10mm past the rim, using up clearance to the strut. The rims are rotatable for track day use, and all are -50mm. The front uses a 10mm spacer, but I also have Michelin Sport Cups in 305/30 size, and they will likely need a bigger spacer, these tires actually measure 325, even though they are 305.

Easiest is to use the rims you want to run on the back of your car, then put them on front with a stack of washers. Once you get the fit you want, measure the washer thickness. You will also need longer studs for a spacer this big.

Stupid inquiry I know due to the more important and awesome upgrades you've accomplished. But I have to ask.
Who's mudflaps are those ? Very clean install...

Thanks and no worries it's the small things sometimes that make the big differences. They are from http://zl1addons.com and I highly recommend them. They use the existing 3 push pins on the bottom and use double sided tape up the remainder of the opening. This still allows the wheel well liners to be removed if need be.

Thank you, they are 305/35/19 rear and 275/35/19 front on MRR 350 11" rears and 10" fronts and I am using 7mm spacers
MRR says you don't need spacers for them. Any reason you put spacers in there?
Sorry I am in Australia and spacers are illegal here. So I was looking for some wheels, that might give that aggressive stance to the car without using spacers.
Moreover, I am going with GT350R style parts and These wheels seems exactly what I was looking for until you mentioned spacers.
By the way the car looks stunning.

Thank you.

I went with 7mm or roughly 1/4" spacers because i was looking for a little more flush look than they gave me without them. They are great wheels and as far as I know nobody else added spacers..... I'm just different lol

Thanks for explaining that, I might buy these wheels, they look great and no spacers is added bonus for me.
I can live without 7 mm.
