If it were me I would never remove them. The fact that you can actually change the bulbs out tells me you know what bulb they are? Or you’ll find out once you remove one of them. That could solve a lot of things for all of us.

…or mask the two lenses including draping the rest of the vehicle with plastic tarps and carefully spray the lenses with semi-gloss/satin black paint (thoroughly cleaning them first) and then just don’t switch them on…I THINK it would take on a nice ‘phantom’ look!

this is my diy fog lights delete kit - 2 powder coated steel sheets, to match the color of car. The pattern is circle as at the time of making I did not have another option. On the back side the lid is secured by the 3d printed clips - no cutting and drilling to bumper. I am planning doing the second version, with laser cutted more uniform pattern.

Well done…the air intake look offers a nice, functional appearance !

This is just my personal taste but I would delete the lights and run one of the light bezels into your airbox or keep them open for more cooling. Just my .02 though

This is the kit that's been around for a while now, most likely what's installed on his car. The yellow lenses prolly come from a laid-on filter or tint. I believe the light housings are 2005-2010 F150 fog light non-OEM replacements. Side mount pivots are modded for side mount screws on the M1. Bulbs are standard 35w halogen... pretty sure its an H8.

I installed a set of these and didnt care for the look of halogen lights on the front of a modern M1. I tried led bulbs in these housings and the light beam was just a huge blob. Really did nothing.

Have some black covers 3D printed and use some 3M tape to hold them on. Problem solved for a few bucks.

Oddly I prefer the look of them whether they work or don't. The blank spots always threw me off
