I'm adding a 8" powered bazooka tube to my 9-speaker premium convertible (fits perfectly in the space under the top) and it comes with a long "fast" harness for power/inputs that I can run from the front. Since rears aren't apparently as easy to access in a vert anyways and I have the long cord I figure might as well tap into the outputs at the factory amp, and in doing so I was thinking I should tap the lower door outs versus the rear decks because I hear rear decks have bass rolloff and I can't imagine they would do that to the subs in the doors.
Anyone do this before?
Also it's only a 100 watt amp on the bazooka, is there a switched power line I can tap at the factory amp so I don't have to got through the firewall?

I had Bestbuy install a powered sub for me and they tapped into the front door speakers at my request. I believe the just tapped right into the speaker wire right at the amp. It's working out pretty well.
