Currently I'm running a full bolt on cat less full exhaust car with gt350 manifold/gt350 tb/jlt gt350 120mm cai @7900 rpm on e85 with 32 degrees of timing.

I have not yet dyno'd the car, however I feel it's power level is around 470 -> 475 whp and my butt dyno is usually pretty spot on. It also ran with a 465 rwhp c6 to 120 mph side by side that was running a big cam so the car is strong.

I'm looking to rev to 8300 rpm and want to add the following:

Comp stage 3 cams
150 wet shot gt350 nx plate kit.
80lb ford racing injectors
vmp/vortech bap

(car is e85)

with a 2015+ gen 2 coyote and a very high rpm (where these cams excel) I'm hoping to see 510->520 rwhp N/A and 670 rwhp/700 rwtq with 150 shot. Keep in mind this is on a dyno jet! Mustang dyno's read much lower and most people referring to how hard it is to break 500 rwhp are reading sheets from mustang dynos.

I've seen a gen 1 coyote with comp stage 2 cams make 520 rwhp with boss 302 manifold and it had heavier rods/pistons. I don't think 520 rwhp should be that far out of line with a gt350 setup 8300 rpm and lighter oem rods/pistons.

Haven't seen hardly anyone with cams on s550 Coyotes yet. I'm very interested in the cam setup and being at that 500 HP mark on the motor w/93. Price:HP ratio is something that is a tough sell from the opinions I've seen so far. Sub'd on this one.

I think we all want to see an N/A car with 500+ whp. If cams and a manifold/TB will get me there on top of the other bolt ons, count me in!

For the price of all of the bolt ons, cams especially, I'd prefer to spend a similar amount and go FI. More power that way, too.

8,300rpm's? WOOO!!! That's really revving, bet that thing is gonna scream. A member on here, Dominant1, did the cams and a bunch of other stuff.

That's the dilemma for me. I don't really need 600 or 700 HP on the street. I'm happy as hell with an 11 second car.

Not sure if the cost is too prohibitive...

Comp Cams MSRP prices for all their Coyote cams are $1514.86 and another $72 for the Phaser Limiter Kit. Install is probably right at $1000. Looking at $2600 plus the tune to add 30-40 HP. Most of us already have a lifetime tune of some sort, so that's pretty much a wash there on added cost.

Comp made 46 HP over stock on a 2011 Coyote with tune, long tubes, and JLT CAI with a tune, according to their flyer.

You've got guys getting the GT350 intake/install for about half that cost and half the HP, so it seems like it's about even in the HP:$ analysis. Take into account that many of these cat-back exhausts are at least $1000 for a few ponies, as well.

A blower kit is $5000-7000, depending on what you get, plus another $1000 for pro install. I can always add a blower or NO2 like the OP is planning later if 500 HP really isn't enough for me.

There might be some other needs that I'm missing here. I don't think you'd need upgraded injectors or OPG.

I guess it all depends how crazy you want to get.

All depends is right, we offer a blower w/install for under 6k right now that is pushing 591whp in an automatic S550. You can go full build with cams and such on the vehicle, you still have tuning and everything else into consideration too. It's one of those 6 to one, half a dozen to another comparisons. Both routes will get you there, just depends which path you want to take.

No limiters or upgraded valve springs needed on the 2015+. I think you get a charge for retuneing. cams fall under power adders for most tuners. Rightly so to bracketing them and over all drivability is time consuming to work out.

I know one guy in her did cams but I haven't seen a video, dyno, drag time, or anything from it yet. Just that it got a lot louder. I'm really interested in cams just for the fact is over all less money for some more HP. Not looking at it in a bang for buck view, but a how much over all impact on the bank account view.

Woah, that doesn't sound like a bad price with the install being included.

Nobody is making that WHP with bolt ons/cams/e85 yet. I also want to know why you want that big of injectors when you're running a wet kit.

Yeah, Dominant1 is making 477whp with full bolt ons, gt350im/tb and comp 3's with an auto on 93. Figure E85 may add 10 or so whp from my experience as well as others. That means a manual car will most likely be right around 500whp give or take a few. Better cams and or head work will be needed for 500+. So far it looks like comp stage 3's only add 20-30whp from what I've seen. I think I'm gonna hold out to see what else comes out before I do cams. Still pondering a change from gt350im to CJ as well.

Well FRPP 80lb injectors are the same price as 60 lb injectors and I figured it would be nice to have the head room if I ran FTW race fuel sometime which lund says taxes the fuel system an additional 20% on top of e85. And when I use the injector duty cycle calculator at a hypotehically 600 crank hp with N/A I need a 52LB injector so it's more just a CYA thing ya know :p The bap is necessary as well but I wanna get a bap that's always on and not triggered by tps/load.

In addition, e85 seems to gain 20-25 whp on these cars depending on the quality of e85 which mine is pretty close to e90 my e% always read e85->e89 on my ngauge and I think the higher you rev it the more the e85 helps.

In regards to the blower response, I had the TVS 2.3 on my DIB 2016 GT PP and I was not impressed. I like the GT350 setup way better the car feels like a race car rowdy and wild compared to the TVS car.

Oh and another reason I'm considering cams is because I'm doing opg/tg anyways and I figured if I had the timing apart I may as well have them do the cams too if I'm gonna rev to 8300 rpm. It will cross labor time I figured. Also peak numbers with a blower are cool and all, but the GT350 power band just feels gnarly when you get above 7k it just pulls flat and reminds me of my flat hp curve on my gtx2971r focus st. I wanna rev to 8300 and have a 28.8 inch tire to wring 3rd to 132 mph so I can trap higher in the 1/4.

gen 1 Coyote engine JPC had a all motor full bolt on plus cams and ported heads running E85 579 horsepower and 593 horsepower with for the win purple on their dyno so who's going to be the first all motor build to hit 600 plus on a Gen 2 Motor
