i considered it instead of the GT350 but i found the cockpit of the car to be too small, i'm not overly big 6'1 200lbs but i just didn't have the legroom i felt i'd like.

I think the 997S is a sweet car. I would not trade for a Vette. But then again, I've had several vettes but no 911 yet. The 911 is a bucket list car. I'm not that old yet, however. LOL

I love the new grand sport. I want the limited edition one with the blue interior. Absolutely beautiful. Although I dunno if I would get rid of a 997s to get one.

Although my dream car is a 911 GTS....

I certainly wouldn't mind one of those in the stable. But I don't think I could part with my Carrera S, or my GT350, in order to get one. As you know, my wife originally demanded that I sell the 911 in order to get the 350. But I was fortunate enough to convince her otherwise.

Gotta do what makes you happy. The GS is a great car, but I bet you'll find yourself back in Porsche at some point. ;)

The 'vette is a lot more of a performance bargain than a Porsche in my opinion. I like a car to be a little loose as well. Having the engine over the drive wheels just makes a car way too hooked up.

Weren't you the same guy saying in another thread that you wouldn't buy a Corvette? Funny how some aesthetics and different tires on the GS changed your point of view on them completely.
