Should I bother with a full sync choice oil or just take it to the dealer and let me do their thing? Car is a lease and I won't be buying this one I will be buying the next one I get so then I will be more focused, but what to do for this one?

Don't waste your money on anything above and beyond factory recommendation.

As long as the car has been serviced at the proper intervals you are fine.

A lot of people with lease cars change their oil once a year, whether it needs it or not.

^^^^^^this , stick with minimum recommended maintenance.

The dealer insisted that i'd let them do the recommended wheel alignment on my '14 Explorer after only 15K !!! Yeah right.
