A couple of questions...
- Do these fit over the current seat upholstery or do you have to remove and then replace?
- Do you have to remove the seat from the car in order to install?
- Is the whole seat skin leather or are the bolsters made of some other material like pleather or vinyl?
My current leather seats have a small whole that has worn in the bolster (pleather/vinyl) from getting in and out of the car. Are these seat skins "Durable" and not Thinned Skinned...?
These replace the factory cloth or leather seat skins. You must remove factory skins and then install these.
Yes you would remove the seats to install these. Removing the seat is by far the easiest part of the install though. Takes 5 minutes to remove all seats.
The seats use leather for the front of the seats and vinyl for the sides and backs. (Same as factory leather seats)
Barely no leather seats are full leather. It would wear much worse having genuine leather on the side of side bolsters.
These use higher quality leather than oem. It will be thicker and more durable but any leather can and will wear over time.
