I'm guessing they wanted $20k+ adm and now that everyone knows to stay away from 2016 tech package GT350's they definitely can't move it.

you asked, I showed you. You can get a GT350 non R in that range all over the country.

For me, I absolutely wanted magneride and I love it. But for the OP, it sounds like it isn't worth it to you.

If it were me, I'd wait a few years and buy something used off the lot or see what the next gen Mustang has in store. I can say I was buying and selling cars very frequently and getting bored fast until I bought the GT350. I have driven quite a few cars since I bought the GT350 and I'm still very happy with my choice. The engine is a big part of that, but so is magneride, in my opinion.

Not in my part of the country. Cheapest GT350 in our area was in the low 60s. The last one sold at about $68k.

Ouch! If it requires travel my advice is do it. Especially for couple of grand. I did it multiple times back in the day. Driving back on a long road trip with a new car is always a good testing ground. It also gives you some time to get to know the car better.

No, a slightly better ride is not worth $6,000
Since I want dual zone climate, nav, and the performance pack anyway and would upgrade to Koni shocks asap the additional cost of MagneRide for me is less than $1000. :D

As others have said only you can tell if it's worth it to you.... But $51k for a Mustang GT after x-plan pricing is almost laughable. At that point why not get a Stingray, ZL1, Hellcat, etc etc.
Because slower (on a track).
Slower than a Mustang? Maybe the Hellcat.
Well a GT350 is as fast as a C7 Z51, so depending on how much slower a base C7 is vs a Z51, and how much slower a 2018 GTPP is to the GT350... could be close. If the GTPP2 has Cup 2 tires on it.. it'll likely be faster than a base C7.

Buy a stripped mustang or load it up.
The choices are endless.
I want a little luxury with my performance.

Magneride is worth it to me.

In that case, I would say it is definitely worth it. It depends on where you are starting at.

This was the original Mustang, and later all Pony Cars, formula from the beginning. Mild, wild, or anywhere in between.
