I first experienced an "offset wheel" years ago in a Vauxhall Cavalier after driving it for about 6 months I realised why I was never comfortable so I just adjusted my position and have been fine ever since. It is just "one of those things"...

I feel as if I sit slightly twisted and my right arm is more stretched out then the left , so I tend to lean , also I noticed this on the Camaro I had before.
I feel that this would be more of a problem if I had a manual box

When the dent in the RHD manifold wasn't enough clearance, FORD decided to twist the steering column setup as well :lol:

This thread has made me look at my other car, a 1998 e36 3 series BMW, and the steering wheel is offset to the left more than my Mustang and the pedals are offset to the right.

I have owned that car for nigh on 20 years so its no wonder I always have aches and pains.

Maybe it is not because I am getting on after all.
