Hey guys,
Since there’s not so much we can do to tweak apps for Apple CarPlay, I believe I have a good way to get around this.
This method will work ONLY on jailbroken iPhones. It allows you to enable any app you have on your iPhone on the Apple CarPlay. You can run Google maps, YouTube, Safari, Photos…. etc.
The tweak/app is simple to use. First, open Cydia and search for NGXPlay under the BigBoss Repo, install the free tweak.
Open the app, switch it to enable then go to Applications, chose an app then you will get few options. Mainly you have to choose either Native (control from the car) or Mirror. The rest you kinda have to try and see how it performs, some apps do not support landscape mood or native mode.
After you have chosen your apps and enabled them, go back and click on configure and respring. Plug your phone now and Voila..!
