Unfortunately, I am not. I have no other choice right now than to pay $150 a month... I can't bring myself to do it right now.I hope that is a joke.
I never thought to check Craigslist. I do that now.We live in Chicago and would NEVER park on the street. I've watched these punks try to back some mid 90s Buick boat into a spot sized for a mini cooper and they use their bumper to literally push the cars out of the way. We have one spot in our condo but happily pay for our other spots. Check out craigslist. Lots of people sublet garage spots in bigger cities. I figure it's either pay for a spot or pay to repair the inevitable front bumper, rear bumper and vandal damage.

Eh, I wouldn't pay $1,800 a year to park my car at home either. Can afford GT PP, but can't afford $150 to keep it protected...:frusty:
Private parking doesn't even exist at my current lodgings. It's $150 a month at my office, which makes it even harder to settle for. I'd have to take 2 buses and about 1 hour of travel time to get to the car (public transport). If I could pay an additional $150 to have a garage for my car, I'd be all about that, vs the street. But that's just my feeling on it.
Makes OP's avatar even more ironic.
