It honestly just looks like the clear coat was scratched..
If your being serious then you should see an eye doctor because you need glasses. You can see that the metal is scratched, the paint and primer are completely gone.

I'm surprised by the comments about leaving it like that because you're only going to get more damage over time so why bother. Where do you live that your car would take that kind of abuse in a regular basis? Do you not fix something when it breaks in your home or do you just say fuck it, why bother, something else will break sooner or later?

It IS possible to touch up something like that, carefully done using a nib file to knock down high spots. Most people probably don't even know what a nib file is....

I've seen some amazing and nearly invisible touch-ups done by competent folks. Not always as invisible as repainting an entire panel, but....

DR. Colorchip is NOT a good solution for this. Looks like a job for Langka. DR Colorchip for chips; Langka for deeper large scratches. You use the factory or other touch up paint and then the Langka product/procedure to make it flush with the existing paint.
