Is there a trip computer? I'm probably just blind but I checked everywhere I could think of but didn't see one. I figured the fuel efficiency was so bad they just thought why bother.

I have a 2018 GT with the digital IC but I haven't seen anything resembling a trip computer. Although I think I saw a MPG units somewhere in setup menu.
I finally found it. With the digital instrument cluster you have to pick between the gauge view or the trip computer. The way to switch between the views is a bit more complex than it should be.

That being said I've got 18.0 MPG with 180 miles on the odometer.

On our trip to visit my GFs family in Mexico I set the milage tracker at 90 mph which is about 21 mpg. Better than I thought. But once you press into triple digits the mileage comes down considerably.

I had my GF grab a few shots of the dash. Not something I like to have going on in the cabin at those speeds but we were the only car on the road. Looks like maybe 15 mpg at 105 mph.

The car is lowered with spacers so no wheel gap or tuck. Other than that all stock except for an axle back.

Heck, if you could get 15 mpg going twice the legal speed limit, that's pretty darn good.

Not a lot of people have access to the ability to drive 80+MPH for extended periods (few hours) without getting ticketed.

Why do you ask?
Around Chicago during rush hour if it's not a parking lot people are averaging over 80+ and you get angry people up your tailpipe if you don't keep up.

Yeah, I never really paid attention to it. I figured it would be down in single digits.

Yeah, you have to pick you spots, and time of day. Generally if I want to make time on the interstate I look for an in state sporting event.

Astros playoff baseball run was a great time to jet up to Austin. Nobody was on the road at all. Anytime Dallas or Houston have a playoff football game going on is a good time to be on the road as well.

I;m loving reading some of these numbers. If i drive how I WANT I get like 12-13MPG in my Infiniti. If I drive like I SHOULD I get MAYBE 17.

My last long trip was about 4 hrs each way with the cruise set at 80 or 85 (IA or SD) - I averaged 24.8 mpg as clocked by the computer. I have a '16 GT w/PP if that matters. Cruising at 80mph in 6th you are turning around 2250-2500rmp, its gonna get pretty decent numbers.

24.8 (by the computer) on a 150 mile 80 mph cruise with a couple of quick blast to 100 in order to not get boxed in.

On ~200 mile trips, with speeds between 80-90 mph with the occasional opportune blast north of that, I've seen 22-24 mpg average (calculated manually between tanks).

Noticed that my best highway mileage has been obtained while varying speed between 75 & 90 mph using throttle pedal modulation, not cruise control, using the road grade to my advantage. Also, keeping an eye on the vacuum gauge (try to keep high vac) seems to result in higher mpg -- don't be afraid to use 5th when highway speed traffic congestion keeps speeds between 50-70 mph; in that speed range, using 5th keeps the vacuum high and it needs less of a deep pedal prod to vary speed.

23mpg averaging 90mph on the way back from WannaGoFast in Dallas last weekend.
That's pretty decent! The DI must've done its bit, coupled with the 10A.

Just got back from a lightning trip to Indy and back, this is on my A10, 3:55 gear new 18. 13xx miles once the tach goes over 2000 rpms, my mileage stayed right around 26 mpg, IF, I kept it at 2000 or less it would go up to 27.5 + or - was driving 80 or so most of the way there and back.....
