Finally found some time to install my GT350 steering wheel. Been sitting in the box for a few months now.

Looks great! Where did you get one with blue stitching?
It's probably dyed, they only make the regular wheel with white stitching

I wonder how hard it is to color the stitching. I have a DIB as well and want to go blue stitching. What did you use exactly? The color seems like a good match

I colored the stitching myself - took a while, pretty tedious. Did that a few months ago when the wheel first came in. My wife picked up a marker for me at Hobby Lobby.

It's a Marvy Chisel Tip Fabric Marker, 570-S #3 Blue.

This is it:

Thanks for the info! Did you prep the stitching in any way? How many coats did you apply? Any info would be awesome.

No prep. Did one coat but did it a bit heavier than I would have if doing multiple coats. It wears down the chisel tip a bit.

With that stitching type, you should let the ink set up for a while, maybe a few days at least to dry properly or you'll get blue hands when you touch the wheel. During the install today, didn't get any blue residue, as it set up for a few months in the shipping box.

I see 199(r) vs 282(non)?

I see the bezel addition on the non R, but cant you add your old bezels to the R wheel?

I think that is the OEM version and not Ford Performance, lead time is 90 days that is why it's cheaper.

One without Bezels just came out. Priced low like the original 350 wheel was at first. See how long it lasts.
