How in the heck did you discern from that one interior photo that it was the
Getrag Transmission?

Shift pattern, reverse is up and left on the getrag. Tremec is to the right

There is only one transmission from Getrag that I feel made them famous in the tuning world. The V160 6 spd is legendary among Supra owners. Rated at 360 tq, there are many many Supras pushing 1000+HP/700+TQ on stock transmission.

MT-82 R is up and to the left

T-6060/T-56 R is up and to the right

Does the getrag bother anyone else then? Yeah, they say they fixed problems and what not, but I was worried after reading some posts about the boss having troubles because of it. Especially the one I test drove which was having a problem with fifth gear that may or may not be related to issues with this tranny, though it seemed to be fairly common for people to have issues with just one gear or things slowly going out. I don't want a track car wth tranny problems :-(

Just because it has the same shift pattern doesn't mean it's the same trans as the regular car. My Audi had the same shift pattern as the MT-82.

I was hoping for a dual clutch transmission too.... I love my manual but would like to see a dual clutch in a Mustang. Knowing my luck Ford will release one shortly after I buy a new one...

I like the look of the GT shifter better however the solid billet shifter ball from the old int upgrade pkg is still my fav.... It does however get very hot in the sun.
