Anyone know where can I find (if anywhere) a diagram identifying parts in the engine of the GT350? I've spent a long time Googling without any luck, and even called Ford Performance Parts, and they didn't know either.

This came up because I wanted to change the daytime running/signal bulbs to the Raxiom white LED bulbs on my 2016 GT350 with tech package. There are videos online showing you can do it on regular Mustangs simply by removing the splash guards at the front wheels. Not so on the GT350s. There are engine parts in the way that prevent access. On the driver's side, for example, there's what looks like a mini radiator just behind the turn signal lights, so I can't get to the bulbs on that side. I want to know what that part is, and whether there's another way to do the bulb swap.

Any help much appreciated!

Small hand and you can reach around the oil cooler, just pop the wheel well covers off both sides, it's just a little awkward but not that hard.

You did it on a lift or on the ground? I tried repeatedly on the ground after removing the splash guard on the driver's side (and have the arm rash to prove it). While I was able finally to get my hand blindly on the smaller bulb, I didn't have enough room to get the hand torque to be able to turn and remove it. The bigger bulb was doable.

Oh, and thanks for confirming that the part in the way is the oil cooler!

Just lying on the ground and groping around, yes arm rash, the only one u need a lift for is the 4th brake light

Have you tried alldatadiy.com?

They have the factory service manual there for about $35 for 3 years or something like that. That was where I got this along with the list of partial part numbers.

Well, here we are back from the dead! I just want to say that my Boss was built in December of 2010 so the part numbers may vary from what you might have. The best thing to always do is give your VIN# to your favorite Ford Store (in my case Steve@Tasca) and let them look up the parts for you.

Back in May, I got a call from Eric at JPC letting me know that Rich was coming to MD for his nephews graduation from Annapolis and had dropped off my shortblock and that it was all ready for whenever I would want to come and pick it up. Not long after I sent a couple of my guys down to MD and had them pick up the motor for me and it has long since sat under a rack in one of our warehouses until I had the funding to finish the rest of the motor. Fast forward to this weekend and I almost at the finish line! The only things that I am currently missing are the heads, head gaskets, lockouts, cams, engine sensors and I’m sure a bunch of miscellaneous odds and ends. I got ahold of Eric late on Friday and he told me the head gaskets and heads shipped from them on Friday, so I should hopefully have them on Tuesday and I will be that much closer to getting this completed.

On to the good shit! For anyone interested I have these exploded view of the parts list for the Boss and GT motors (this one is the Boss motor but they mostly share the same components, just different parts and subsequently, part numbers) if you want the GT version, let me know and I can get that to you.

Yes, that would be great, but the info for the new GT350s is not available there yet.

Well that stinks. I hope they get it up there soon.
