GT350 Colors

Damn, that is so mean looking murdered out. I badly wanted to order all black, but the swirl marks would be the death of me.

Have you ever put a clear coat coating on a vehicle? It really helps with keeping swirls to a minimum. I have used Opti Coat and plan to do so on this vehicle shortly after delivery.

I had a Boss 302 Laguna Seca in black - quite easily the best looking S197 edition ever made. I've got enough black cars and love white so went with the classic white Shelby with blue stripes. Black cars when taken care of usually are the best looking.

I am wondering how the Shelby would look with a matte black wrap....

I ordered the black with white stripes and saw the race red at like rock..wow great looking color. Was going to change it to the red but it is too late...check with your dealer as soon as you can if you want to change colors.

Closest look at my color combo

Here is a picture of a Race Red with matte black stripes. Yes, I know that is not available for the base GT350 :headbonk: but at least I get an idea of what my car will look like once I get my hands on the stripes and have them installed. Sorry for the bad quality, but I figured there are others like me out there. Hope it helps

It is safe to use and provides a level of protection just as it would for the rest of the paint. People have used it extensively in the past with great results.

Edit - I read your question again and probably didn't address the underlying concern. Assume you are asking whether it will produce a sheen on the stripes? From the pictures I've seen on detailing forums, the impact is extremely minor.
