GT PP 1/4 mile , finish in 4th or 5th

How many of you are doing the 4-5 shift in the 1/4? I have been holding in 4th and was wondering if I'm leaving ET and MPH on the table by not going into 5th.

Staying in 4th will probably yield a better E.T since you won't be wasting time with an upshift, but will lower your trap speed. I would either raise your rev limiter or get taller tires.

Yes if u dont raise ur rev limiter or put a taller tire u will have to shift into 5th.Thats with the 373 on the pp cars with the pzero,s.Even with my limiter raised im still coming across the traps in 4th at about 7k rpms.
