Gt 5.0 vs 2017 Camaro 1LE

Maybe I overlooked something in the process, but I went to Ford's site and chose a base Mustang GT and and only added the PP, and it came to $36,090. I went to Chevy's site and chose the 1SS Camaro and only added the 1LE package, and it came to $44,400. So in MSRP, there's not $10,000 difference in price, but it's over $8,000.

Add in discounts, etc., and who knows what the difference might end up being.

If you can find one for 44400. Every dealer Ive seen has specd them with the performance computer.

I wonder why I got that incentive. It's not like they know who I am, and all I gave them was a zip code in my city, not even my actual zip code. Maybe it's a California thing?

The 1le package is much more loaded then the PP package. And if you want the 1le, getting the PDR is a plus. I have it on my Vette and works great, especially as a dash cam.:cheers:

^ That's why I have one. That and the 15 1LE wasn't impressive engine wise compared to my 14 GTTP I traded. And the interior didn't compare to the 15 GT IMO.

Weren't we taking about the V6 1LE? That's about $3,000 cheaper than a GT PP depending on who is working the build/price tool. Pretty impressive package from Chebby even if many of us wouldn't dream of buying a pony car with fewer than 8 lungs.

The 6th Gen Camaro's structure is NOT designed to handle performance applications.

Please examine the 2016 Camaro's Front Section, specifically where the Cradle joins to the A-Pillar/Torque Box (vs the S197/5th Gen/ATS and S550)

Also, examine the area between the B and C Pillars. The entire area has been deleted...

These changes are very apparent and not quality design.
