I'm curious regarding the following:

If I buy a Europe/German Spec S550 Mustang and install a Ford Racing Catback afterwards....can I just drive around like that since "Ford Racing" parts are considered factory parts or does it need to be approved by TÜV?

yeah, but the older ones were us-spec, not eu-spec, i.e. the older ones never had an eu-approved signs anywhere...

don't get me wrong
i would like my s550 to Sound like a muscle car, but there will be lots of Problems

1. if you Change the exhaust, Ford will say: Warranty gone!

2. if you are not keen on any Kind of warranty:

2.1. get that not eu-approved Ford Performance stuff and you void your insurance (changes of the car, that are not approved void the Registration and the insurance: in case anything happens (i.e. Crash) this could mean you are ruined...

2.2. this is the only way to have fun without unlimited risk (see 2.1.):
wait till someone offers eu-approved borla or Corsa or whatever Systems

your Ford dealer might deny warranty Claims, but anything else will be fine
