I don't see the crucifixion you speak of. I see some people expressing dissatisfaction with the rules changing after the deadline to submit, but I certainly don't see anyone running around with pitchforks exclaiming that they should be damned to hell. If you don't like people expressing dissatisfaction, maybe you should avoid the internet. ;)

As for not asking, it is hilarious people are upset over that and specifically pointing out they will not vote for people that ask. There are 9 pages of cars and not very many people are going to go through every page. Why not ask? It's biblical (Mat 7:7)!!! If it's not worth it to you then don't ask, but if it is you better go after it. To me it is worth it!

The problem is they switched from an open contest to a popularity contest that would be far too easy to troll/cheat. I'm guessing the majority of people wouldn't have even entered had they known it would be a popularity contest.

One person out of many is getting something for free, and a bunch of people are going to cry about it. A giveaway with a single winner is always going to be that way.no matter how the recipient is chosen. But I think we should all go vote for [MENTION=20481]partyelmarty[/MENTION], because he's currently doing a tour of the globe trying to find the amusement park with the lowest height requirements.

Funny I was thinking the exact same thing last night, but decided I want to keep my OEMs for some reason.
