Honestly, if I owned a Ford GT and cars in its price point, I could care less how it drives on the street as I probably would have a stable of cars to choose from for certain purposes. Having said that, you would think that any car in this price point would be an all arounder. From the video review, it sounds Jethro Bovingdon thinks the Ford GT is awesome on track and not so much on the road. At least not as fun on the road as some less expensive offerings from Ferrari and McLaren.
I can't believe I just typed less expensive offerings from Ferrari and McLaren when talking about a Ford.
Here is Motortrend's review and the author seems to like it both on track and on road.

I don't think we'll get any until one of the Performance Car of the Year tests. Ford Performance has gone down the route of not providing specific performance numbers, only top speed in this case, and leaving it up to owners and the media to see what they can get out of the car. I don't like this approach at all. Ford Performance should control the narrative in regards to the performance of the GT. A couple bad driver reviews with poor 0-60, 1/4 mile times etc. and public perception goes south quick in this viral social media world.Still no actual #s.....
^^^ This has it right. They hit the sexy car nail on the head!Outside of performance, this is one of THE SEXIEST cars out right now.
But the GT switch will be $1000 from the dealer! That is what makes it better ;)Wait a minute, $500k and it has the same boring ass headlight switch to the left of the steering wheel my Focus has???
You can tell your not paying for the interior with this car.Wait a minute, $500k and it has the same boring ass headlight switch to the left of the steering wheel my Focus has???
