Now you just have to go down to the courthouse and pay the fine and you're good to go to get another one!Just went to CHP where I work and got the ticket signed off on. I used the Craig's bracket and now the plate is back off. Good to have in the trunk just in case.
Yep. I work in LA County so I couldn't do it at the courthouse down the street. He said I have to go to Orange County where it happened. maybe Friday. Now you just have to go down to the courthouse and pay the fine and you're good to go to get another one!
Just so you (and other californias) know, the fix it ticket doesn’t go on your record at all because it’s not a moving violation (someone asked). However, if you just pay the fine and don’t fix it and continue to get tickets for it, the officer can turn a fix it ticket into a moving violation. They have to have proof you’ve neglected to resolve the issue multiple times in the past, and they have to be an asshole, but they can do it.I can but I would rather do it in person. I don't get half the things I order through USPS, They are horrible.
If he wrote him for the car pool ticket it's like $400, so I think he made out ok.That is what is called a "pretextual" stop. They're supposed to be barred in California as of January 1st.
Pretext stoppers are not “barred”, they’re not illegal, they’re done all the time in California after Jan 1st.That is what is called a "pretextual" stop. They're supposed to be barred in California as of January 1st.
