Whats done to it?

Did you do any more stock runs before modding it or is your baseline still that one day it was wet out?

Baseline was a 12.0 stock everything.

The car now has a drag pack (wheels/tires), SVE resonator delete, SVE lowering springs, and still have full interior.

Those PS4s are clearly very good tyres or the A10 launches very well on street tyre, you should of kept trying on the stock wheel/tyre, probably had a high 11 in it. :)

This.

I wish they had tried more than one rushed day at the track before starting in on the modifications. IMO they were to much of a rush to get 11's they didn't want to spend time to see if the stock car could do it.

Also wheels, tires, and Xpipe to drop .1sec seems like they could have done that stock with just a few more passes or a weather change.

Yep shame really, a bone stock car in high 11's is far more impressive than a stock car with a tyre in 11's.

They would of being better to keep car stock:
- Drop in K&N
- Remove strut brace
- Remove engine cover
- Add oil separator
- Some octane booster
- Driver mod, perfect tyre pressures, practice launch.

Would of gone 11's for sure. Then get a AED, Lund or PBD tune on the car in above trim and re-run.

They should of then tried stuff like tyre, more aggressive race tune etc and maybe have tuner try tweaking shift speed etc. though I doubt tuners will improve the A10 for sometime as GM/Ford spent years and millions perfecting the A10.

I think the A10 launches well as in drag mode I believe if it detects slip in 1st gear it will short change to 2nd gear early to maintain traction and thus acceleration, which is probably why it does so well on street tyre.

You keep posting about "drop in K&N".

They're crap. They're dyno test proven to lose HP, and every now and again gunking up MAF sensors. The stock filter element is the best.

The guys that tested every Performance pack on the 15-17's for an article have dyno gains from just the K&N filter.

Also you are ONLY "gunking" a MAF if you are an idiot and don't let it dry after cleaning it, or way over oil it.

I've read the exact opposite. Dyno run, swap filter, dyno run 2 minutes later.

The stock flows freer.

LMR sells performance parts. It's not worth their time to beat on the car stock to see what it will do. There will be a million guys with stock cars who will do that.
