Yes, black is a love/hate thing. I really want to see guard in person. If I don't like it, I'm going with magnetic or DIB.

It was High Performance White and YES it was much better than Oxford White.

Black is best.............but I'm done with black cars. They look stunning for the first 5 minutes after you've detailed them. My black '05 is almost a full time job, yet my silver BMW 330 is a breeze to keep looking good.

From the actual S550s shown to date, silver looks fantastic (yes, that desert light helps). However, the Magnetic/Saddle combo shown on the 'vert is drop dead gorgeous. That'd likely be my choice.

Need to see Guard out in the open on an S550 before passing judgement.

I vowed to never own a black vehicle unless I'm rich enough to hire someone to keep it clean for me all the time. It's a waste of cruising time, in my opinion.

I had a buddy that had an obsession with cleaning cars, back in the day, he'd easily spend 8 full hours detailing a car (that includes undercarriage and engine bay). He always charged extra for black vehicles.

I've been a blue guy for most of my speciality cars. That and odd year cars. I voted for the DIBlue as normal for me. The Guard could get my attention, but like others, I need to see it in life. Next October, it looks like. There's a photo in this blue with a wide black stripe that really turns me on. Reminds me of my 67 GTX.
